6 Business Tools That are Completely Free

I frequently use many of the Business tools listed on a daily basis to help with running of VAMOS by CR and actually couldn’t live without a few (Canva to be specific!).

Although many of these are business tools are free, you may need to upgrade if you after the more advanced capabilities, I have managed to use most of the free versions of these business tools.

I’ll start my number one with my all-time favourite one:

1. Canva

With Canva, you can create graphics for everything Facebook, Instagram, blog posts etc. It has pre-populated templates which you can adapt to suit your business brand (including incorporating your brand colours) or you can create your own. Canva makes it very simple to create beautiful images.

2. Toggl

Toggl is great time tracking tool. Ever wondered how long it’s taking you to complete a task? Well this is the perfect tool you can either log into the website and start tracking or add it as an extension to your website browser for even easier access. It’s a simple play/stop button and you can add all the details of the task and project. You can then download a report based on the time recorded.

3. Evernote

I use Evernote to take down notes, create checklist and to do lists and save links I want to refer to later. It can set up notifications and reminders, it’s a bit like a virtual notepad. You can download the app for your phone, which will sync with any additions or changes you make on your laptop/desktop.

4. Asana

Asana is a fantastic project management tool, especially when you are working in teams. You can create several projects, add tasks specific to the project, deadlines, and allocate tasks to a staff or team member. When tasks are completed you can tick items off, it’s a great visual tool which lets you track the progress of a project.

5. Plann

Plann is a Instagram planning tool, you can upload pictures into the app which then allows you to preview your feed. The app allows you to set up reminders of when you need to post and hashtagging becomes a breeze as you can save and create different hashtag groups to easily copy from when posting in Instagram.

6. Google drive

Is a cloud storage system, and you can access the files from anywhere! Google drive gives you the first 15GB for free. I use it to back up important documents and photos. Files can be shared via the direct link or email invitation. I have used it to send large files, simply upload your file and send the recipient the shareable link. They can then view and download from their end.

If there are any business tools I have not mentioned that you cannot live without, drop me a comment below or get in contact with the details. I am always up for testing new things out.
