Asana is a fantastic project management tool, especially when you are working in teams. You can create several projects, add tasks specific to the project, deadlines, and allocate tasks to a staff or team member. When tasks are completed you can tick items off, it’s a great visual tool which lets you track the progress of a project.
Wave is a financial software system. You can create invoices, accept payment via credit card with Stripe or bank transfer and you can setup reoccurring invoices. It also can track your receipts expenditure with a scanning app for your phone. The best part is the software is completely free to use.
Is a cloud storage system, and you can access the files from anywhere! Google drive gives you the first 15GB for free. I use it to back up important documents and photos. Files can be shared via the direct link or email invitation. I have used it to send large files, simply upload your file and send the recipient the shareable link. They can then view and download from their end.
Toggl is great time tracking tool. Ever wondered how long it’s taking you to complete a task? Well this is the perfect tool you can either log into the website and start tracking or add it as an extension to your website browser for even easier access. It’s a simple play/stop button and you can add all the details of the task and project. You can then download a report based on the time recorded.
Acuity Scheduling is just that an amazing scheduling tool. Setup your availability and you can share a link where your clients can book directly into your calendar. It can also cover paid appointments (such as coaching services) as it integrates with PayPal, Square & Stripe. It is super easy to setup and we use it for our free consultation appointment.
Social Media Management & Graphic Creation
Plann is a Instagram planning tool, you can upload pictures into the app which then allows you to preview your feed. The app allows you to set up reminders of when you need to post and hashtagging becomes a breeze as you can save and create different hashtag groups to easily copy from when posting in Instagram.
Tailwind is a Pinterest approved scheduler for your pins. I have used this on my own account and have grown it from 400 views to over 30K views. You can create a schedule and use the chrome extension to add pins to be published to your schedule. It also gives very detailed analytics about your account and board growth.
I discovered Gravit Designer when I needed to create graphics and icons with a transparent background (PNG). It is a free graphic design software that can be used online or on the desktop. It has templates to create social media graphics and is a great alternative to Canva with a few little extras.
